We know older retirees like those- we tried to get them onboard with PLS in the early days, nope, welded to their blue chips with piddly divvy returns (because their advisors had them hold multiple stocks with small amount invested per stock). They ridiculed us when the SP hit the low teens, when we were underwater by a significant amount. Thankful for stumbling across PLS when we retired (early) in 2015, still wrapping my head around holding a multi-million dollar portfolio. And those friends who gave us a hard time most definitely not laughing at us now We tell them it's still not too late- it's early days- but compulsory draw downs (not helped by recent inflation) and other expenditure have left most without the capital to invest and relying heavily on government pensions (shudder....).
