The US Fed meets tonight to make a determination on interest rates. Most analysts have been predicting a pause, so the markets have been buoyant for the last month or so. If the Fed does indeed pause, then we'll see more buoyancy until the next Fed meeting - for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, if tomorrow brings another rise of .25%, then the indices may come under stress.

The latter being great news for the astute traders of PLS amongst us and another opportunity for the long holders to top-up their PLS portfolio. And if there's a pause, then back to $5.60c+ within weeks - in my personal opinion derived from one's own crystal ball, which is still dominated by scantily clad dancing goils to distract one's mind from the job - pretty Sirens all, according to one's imaginative peccadillos . Making of it (said crystal ball) a perilous instrument by which to view the market.
