Further to my discussion centered on Japan and Toyota doing a backflip on hydrogen and instead going hell for leather on EV's and Lithium batteries: The Japanese government have just set aside circa $3 Billion in their budget towards the domestic production of EV battery output. And from said amount (circa $3 Billion) the Japanese government has just granted/gifted Toyota with $854 Million to that end - not a loan, a gift, just to clarify.
Helps cement my assertions that the combined new entrants of a wealthy country (Japan) and one of the World's largest vehicle manufacturers (Toyota) into the lithium battery/BEV fold will have a significant, positive impact on the lithium demand/supply dynamic - going forward. And going forward may happen with lightning speed, given Toyota already has considerable experience with electric powertrains and EV manufacture has had time to mature (not there yet), so they are using proven designs like 'skate-board architecture and avoiding much of the R&D costs (license cost being a fraction of R&D).
