If BHP have done the numbers (and I assume that is correct) and they come out in favour of EV haulage trucks, then surely it won't be long before BHP decide they should be into lithium as the pointy end of the process worth heaps to them. They could probably still get PLS cheap although the $7 or $7.50 of last year might have gone up a dollar or two by now. But they would need to make a big sudden offer to be effective, IMO.
