Over the course of the first 2 weeks of July, the
price of Spodumeme Concentrate has declined
about $400 USD to $3610/mt, according to SMM.
Is this fall in price being engineered? or has demand
really declined?
Is SMM a reliable source?
Last year at around this time the price of
our stock started going on a real tear, partly as a function
of the high price of spodumeme. Are the shorts anticipating
that the cost of spod will continue to decline and drag our stock
price down as well. I can already hear the rantings from the investment
banks immediately after we release our quarterly report as they focus
entirely on our lower product sale price.
The next couple of months are going to be interesting to say the least.
