Common now... there isn't enough lithium in the world to even electrify a fraction of the global vehicle fleet and now you want a battery on each house too?!?
UK also has nukes, which cannot chase peak pricing and presumably cause a lot of the negative price events. Australia has no nukes, it has coal and gas. If SA and Vics excess wind causes excess negative price periods, then coal will pull out rather than lose money. Coal isnt legally allowed to switch off as its an essential service versus wind and solar who can switch off whenever they like, stray cloud, gaps in winds gusts etc.
