Sunny, the Mazda 3 sedan and the Tesla Model 3 are very similar in size, and I've seen them both classed as "compact sedans" as a segment.
Although the Tesla seems to sit in this odd small-medium size car space.
But I definitely have seen the Tesla Model 3 compared to a Mercedes A Class sedan as a size and segment comparison. And the A Class is absolutely in the same size segment as the Mazda 3.
The build quality of the Mazda is superior to, or at the very least equivalent to that of the Tesla.
So it's a fair and relevant comparison.
The MG4 doesn't compare to either.
It's closest ICE rival would probably be the MG5.
Both have an "Essence" level of trim, so a good comparison.
MG4 EV $51k drive away
MG5 ICE $29k drive away
EVs are not currently close to price parity to an equivalent ICE powered car.
