Ellison is taking a leaf out of Twiggy's playbook. Cry poor, green wash and say Australia is too expensive to do business. Then, ask the Australian Government for some cash to build a plant. MIN are hunting for Perth basin gas at a time when expanding their iron ore, on lower prices. A JV may make sense or divest their lithium assets. Begs the question what would be the synergy advantages for PLS. LTR/GL1/KAI/PMT etc. all have to be justified before any M&A/JV activity. Everyone's too expensive at the moment. LTR will be gobbled up by someone soon.
