you'll need to calculate the capital gain then divide by 2 due to the 12m 50% discount and that is the capital gain. the first 18k will be tax free then taxed at marginal from there on as she pushes up the tax tiers.
the share disposal will automatically be on her tax return so there is no hiding from it as they are all linked now. if she doesn't do a tax return or declare it, she'll get a letter from the ATO
