Ken believes that miners will have to transition to shipping a more economical and greener product such as what PLS/Calix and MIN are trying to develop. The future of lithium mining will include some refining of Spod on the mine site. Spod, as it is now, at 5.3%, will be a thing of the past.
PLS are hoping for a carrier salt of some thing like 30%. Reduce waste at converter stage, less to transport, greener processing on site etc etc
