My first foray into spec stocks included Sundance Resources (ASX: SDL).... boy oh boy.... THAT was a well learned lesson on NOT investing in any african based venture..... SDL is still up a creek without a paddle, and, as usual in Africa, the Chinese will most likely come out on top. Wised up pretty quick after that.
