Interesting, renewable energy sources in the US are forecast to be 86% of total generation in 2023. Heaps of solar capacity relative to wind and batteries, which means plenty of room for more batteries to shore up the machine. Though, batteries currently stand at 17%, leading nat gas which sits at 14% of generation.
This deployment is happening around the world, maybe not at the same pace as the US, but its coming
This deployment of renewables "should" lead to deflation of energy prices (eventually) given the lower overall costs to build, speed to market and modular flexibility.
