My nearly 80 yr old mum just bought a GWM TANK 300 - with great delight and my approval.
The Chinese are going to reap most of the EV rewards like it or not! They are distributing their cars through a vast network of dealers and remain totally unbeholden to any of these dealerships…..they are gonna kill it….the West hasn’t the capacity to manufacture competitively and China is ramping up.
The West has made too numerous strategic errors - trade wars, kinetic wars! The collective West is in fact made up of diverse interests. Europe has willingly economically neutered itself in favour of USA with NATO in Ukraine. Australia’s economic interests are more aligned with the global south ie. the greater BRICS alliance.
As Australia and Pilbara minerals we should bet each way.
China is the elephant in the room like it or not!
