The recent dividend announcement did not include a special dividend but it did allow for the possibility of a few capital management alternatives in the future. My guess is that there will be nothing new announced before end of January next year (but I have no special knowledge and, clearly, I might be wrong). There is, in my view, a strong possibility of a special dividend being declared with the half yearly dividend announced in February 2024. All things will become clearer after the results for the September and December quarters are known.
Also, if the price falls very low (eg, below $4) there might be a share buy-back since we would be getting good value for our money!!
