Can you tell me how the price is being orchestrated down for "someones benefit" (eg converter), given that the beneficaries (converters) need as much raw material as they can get their hands on?
Ill rephrase the scenario; A converter has a committment to a battery manufacturer. So the converter needs raw materials. The converter buys sc6 for this purpose. Hypothetically - Im making this next part up to suit your argument - all the Chinese converters get together and create a cartel. They agree to not outbid eachother and pullback on spot transactions. This has the effect of reducing demand artifically.
Now...the converters have committments downstream, but they cant fulfil them as they are all busy feigning demand and forcing prices down. But hang on, they have committments, so how are they able to force the price down but still fulfill the insatiable demand downstream?
I hope you understand what I am saying.
