Makes me wonder. I wonder if computers and information technology were now just coming on to the scene, that Boom Finance would have been stating that this would have been doomed to fail also. I suspect so.
In my by view we can easily survive and have done so as a species up to this point in time without points 1 and 3, but without point 2 we won't be saying goodbye to fossil fuels and our long term future won't be looking so great. Even the Chinese now recognise the problem of air pollution ICE transport is having on their cities, hence the big shift to EVs.
