SUNNYAUS - you need to proportion some of the cost of the solar installation to the car - is it 5-10-20%??. I don't have a clue. On a normal household solar system, the solar going to the car would normally be put back into the grid. Think feed in tariff. Money in the bank.
If you are going to have big big solar system then think about the cost of it and what you could do with the extra installation cost like below.
Ok - $60k for the EV. My wife's car $30k. What could I do with the $30k difference. Invest it. What would be the outcome if I invested $30k into PLS @ $4. What might be the value of dividends and cap gain say over 10 yrs.
