Short sellers will still need to close out their positions to make a profit.
Will they be able to do that at a profitable level given the number of shares needed to cover? I guess time will tell.
Lowering the SP has allowed a few LTHers to add to their positions with dividends. These shares (mine at least) will not be available on the market at a price for the shorters to make a profit.
