I understand what you are saying about the cost of lithium...

I understand what you are saying about the cost of lithium coming down, therefore batteries are cheaper and so the price of EV's can fall. That is still not going to be a good enough reason for large price cuts as car companies would want to just take the reduction in costs to increase their margin/reduce losses.

If the production cost of PLS falls do they pass on the savings to their customers or pocket the extra profit ?- of course they take the profit, just as car companies or other manufacturers do the same. They don't reduce prices because they are nice guys. They reduce prices because they have to. Capacity in the battery supply chain exceeds demand at the moment. PLS is still a well run company and is setting themselves up nicely if the lithium price has another large price increase.
