Tell you all nice people a story. In the 80s I speculated on potatos, knowing
Makkie (Mc Donalds) and companies were going to need an awful lot for french fries.
I studied all the statistics of supply and demand and it was clear price was going
to rise. It did in the beginning and then came back I could hardly liquidate at
breakeven (had a very large position) Well it turned out that there was all that
potatos (spud) in Canada classified as seed potatos not meant for the market
in reality inventory that was soon sold off for french fries due to the higher prices.
Does anyone see the parallel with the inventory rundown in lithium that is
supposed to be happening? The difference is that the electric revolution IMO
has a lot more to run as opposed to the hamburger revolution. So lets just all
cool it and we'll be all right. I am in the camp of @dfs1, remember the drone
formation?
