After such a good lead from the US over the weekend, one would have thought the Oz lithium producers would follow in tow. However, we have been heavily sold off in the first hour & 3/4 this morning with 15.6m+ sold during this time. I think many nervous retail holders have been caught up in the panic - especially those with China connections.
This morning, Korean battery manufacturers have been flying with SK Innovation up 10%+.
Those producers with Korean connections should be doing a lot better than they currently are.
I get the sense this morning's action is a temporary aberration and we will see some gains later in the trading day/ week.
This is the last push down (IMO) with a string of negative earnings revisions out from UBS adding to the selling pressure and typical of investment bankers driving the market sentiment the direction they want it to go.
