Too complicated for this little duck and yes I believe there will be repercussions. What China does remains to be revealed. They still control approx’ 80% of Lithium processing and most of the battery cell production so restricting the eligibility for IRA incentives and tax breaks will have enormous implications for most EV’s and consequently sales in the US, short term at least.
