The US is a SUV, TRUCK market - I drive a Subaru
Outback on account it fits my lifestyle.
Big vehicles, with HIGH margins for automakers.
DFS. I don’t doubt for a second that the Chinese can,
and will dominate the car market in the US.
People just don’t want them in comparison to trucks
(men) and the SUV’s (soccer moms).
What I personally find interesting is once this transition
happens to more and more Chinese cars in the US,
Will it have any effect at all with the BIGGER vehicles?
Honda, Toyota have a huge presence with the
SUV market. Question is will they have a boxers
chance against the Chinese?
Remains to be seen….
