It's a long slow process to get to carbon neutral. Electric vehicles are just a part of the puzzle. Carbon neutral mining and metal production is still going to damage the environment. More products need to be recycled. Public transport isn't carbon neutral but could be with a big investment. At some point you have to make a start and EVs have the "feel good" about them and they are better than ICE
