Good point you raise there.
Lithium price is just like other commodities price, they're all cyclical driven by several factors such as market demand and supply, geopolitics,global financial, government policy and incentives, etc. There's a chance that Li price might bounce back up to the level above the mining companies production cost to produce them. It's just a matter of time for that to happen.
IMO, low on commodities or raw materials will give a chance for the downstream to make their money. But soon PLS will have their midstream and downstream come to the revenue pictures and paint the ppt slidedecks.
High Li price will benefits PLS upstream
Low Li price will benefit PLS downstream.
again, all in my personal view.
