Not sure if this has been posted yet, but just listened to the LTR conference call and the CEO spoke of the revised spod pricing expectations from Wood Mackenzie that has essentially triggered the withdrawal of the debt offering by LTR bankers.
Bottom line, Wood Mac forecast a short to medium term spod price (through to FY27) of US$950/t.
If that price forecast is realised there will be blood on the street for all lithium companies. That surely is unsustainable as it is premised on oversupply from African spod and Chinese lepidolite.
It seems that when the players get this pessimistic we are close to the bottom!!
