Also, the time and effort it would take to do properly is well beyond the brain power and staying power of most investors.

its easy enough pulling up ASX producer quarterlies and seeing what was produced and what was shipped, but good luck doing that in Africa and to some extent in China.

Which means we are left with various analysts (both bulls and bears analysts have been wildly wrong), macro EV sales data and our own analysis of how much new production is or isn’t coming online (for example, anyone can sit down and track whether companies like LTR and LLL achieve nameplate and whether they achieve it on time).

LTR has already signalled they will revise down their output and defer the expansion and LLL is a basket case and in the bad books with the Mali authorities due to FFX.
