Yep. The African mine is a beauty. Old tin mine. All of 50kt of SC, grade and impurities unknown. May produce more when they sort out power and water issues. Oh yeh, and when price goes up substantially. I note it’s close to the town of
Bumf¥€knowhere.
I suggest this SC is grease grade and would be slightly above Lepidolite in the pecking order if it wasn’t for the fact it’s in Africa.
The new processing plant can produce 50,000 tons of spodumene concentrate per year, which is then processed into lithium salts. The power station will initially rely on Hwange’s 33kV power line, but there are plans to build 88kV power lines in the future. The company also built a dam to ensure reliable water supply to the plant.
