There were many bumps on the road in the transition from horses and carts
on country lanes to petrol fueled cars on super highways.
Net Zero is a financial disaster for those who think nature can be controlled.
The best one can hope for is working with nature (natural resources).
Yet all rational steps towards economic electricity production
(dare I mention wind, sun and nuclear?)
(and efficient energy storage)
(dare I mention lithium?)
are logical civil engineering projects if planned with care
and assembling the most highly sought after education levels.
The robber barons will protect their oil monopolies to the last gallon
and the last drop of blood in oil dependent economies.
Dare I mention hybrids as a well engineered peaceful solution
either in a carefully planned longer term transition, or even
as a permanent solution, if all parties work together?
Why is the market still rationally supporting coal, oil and gas?
Maybe they know it has a key role to play.
Green fanaticism does not put food on tables or solve housing crises.
Housing at affordable levels = energy at affordable levels.
For transport of materials, skilled labour & construction.
Excessive green lunacy feeds inflation.
I am as green as the next person
If being green is handled efficiently, economically and intelligently.
That means Lithium mined competently and used safely has a major role to play.
Do governments and financial robber barons have the wit that is needed?
Where ignorance (of all costs) is bliss, it is folly to be blindly green.
Where ignorance about the future is bliss it is folly to be wise
Blind belief in past speculative bubbles achieves little.
Oil got where it did via intelligent large scale investment
Lithium has a lot to learn
BHP, MIN, RIO are you listening ?
PLS should be the jewel in the crown of your future.
I continue to advocate a new PLS based Lithium Listing on the ASX
