The same thing happened with oil. The West had to do politics for years as long as they depend on Middle East for energy. If we depend on China for Li, Ni (via Indonesia), Cobalt,.. it is even worse.for the Ni case, I believe Indonesia will soon reacts to stop selling their strategic resource for cheap.
