We have to dig up somewhere for the metal and minerals whether it's iron ore for steel or rare earth for magnet. The thing is if we cook up the planet, we're done. The reversal can take a century in which human faces loss of land, salt water in fresh water rivers, reduction of food, more often flooding storm,... The vision is all these EVs will be charged from the wind, sun. It can be one day be charged while you're driving on highway and technology changes quickly.
