Back in 2000, there was a great email "joke" that made the rounds. It talked about one person that flew in a private jet everywhere he went, had a 20,000 SF (2,000 M2+) home with multiple air conditioning units and two diesel generators, and went on and on about how much consumption and pollution this person was responsible for. The second person lived in an eco-friendly ranch that was designed to take advantage of the path of the Sun and local wind patterns, had electric golf carts on the ranch to avoid using gasoline, and was extremely environmentally friendly.
The first person was Al Gore. The second was George Bush Jr.
