No doubt city dwellers in apartments will have issues. Fortunately, most Aussies live in seperate dwellings. Another reason I like being a country bumpkin.
Australia in 2021 shows that 70.3% of all dwellings were separate houses; 17.3% were medium density dwellings, and 11.0% were in high density dwellings, compared with 64.8%, 19.4%, and 15.1% in the Greater Capital Cities respectively.
