I don't think there's a single person on this thread saying EVs should not be adopted.
If you can find one that would be great. Most people acknowledge they have they're use cases.

The "world" has not made it's decision.
Those in positions of power and influence in some countries have made that decision.

Without subsidies and looming government mandates that literally ban the sale of ICE cars, what do you think the EV sector would look like right now?
Answer: It would be almost non existent with the exception of those that really, really want and can afford one.
