I just came across an interesting concept from "Krone", a manufacturer of truck trailers. They want to electrify their trailers so that they are compatible with normal diesel trucks or an electric truck unit.
It is currently a concept, they are talking about 40% savings (certainly meaning diesel) and market launch for 2025. Here, too, you can see that work is being done on electrification in places where you might not even expect it.
