well, just as with an ice you're going to avoid getting to zero. The popular new LFP chemistry cells have no problem charging regularly to 100% but if you're on a road trip you probably don't want to hang around charging to 100% if the rate of charging is significantly less beyond 80% than the bulk of your charging. I'd rather hit the road and make another toilet/coffee/charging stop a few hours again later.
