I bought an EV recently on a NV lease and all my charging is being done at home at 8c kw/hr. I commute 150km a day and for my scenario it makes total sense to have an EV, especially when it's paid for with all pre tax funds. Next to no scheduled servicing and daily running costs about 10% of my last car. I've always been a car person, V8's and Turbos etc but the savings are too good to ignore. If and when I use the EV for a 400-500km+ road trip I don't think stopping for 15-20 min is such a big deal anyway.
