I guess that's the point isn't it. Not everyone's experience will be the same. A lot of people still catch the train or bus and drive on the weekends or after school hours. Some people may only have to charge once a week, simply go to a station have a coffee and move on after 15 minutes.Some people will be able to charge at work.
However, by and large most people will just charge at home over night, so to focus on outlier cases is a bit of a disingenous attempt of misdirecting the utility of charging vs filling up at a petrol station.
