the thing about short squeeze is fundamental does not matter during the feeding frenzy, it all about supply and demand and the short must covered their position due to margin call and out of money.
just like VW 2008 squeeze shorter lost a total of $30 billion it briefly makes the world most valuable company, once the dust settle then fundamental kicks in until then, shorter face unlimited loss
just like GameStop shorter lost 10 billion dollars and the business is on the brink of bankruptcy
the pressure is start to cook for PLS once it read the $5 mark, everything will be out of the door it all about margin call and the need to cover
someone going to lose a lot of money
the rule of short, you can only gain a maximum 100% but your loss is unlimited, so if shorter is meet with a skills strategic investor who can engineer a squeeze, they going to lose 10 to 1
