i was watching CNBC on the weekend and they went to Chile where they showed a Chinese made BEV and next door a Japanese made ICE . THe Chinese made BEV was $9K cheaper with 450KM range and it looked like a ripper car better looking than the ICE. The expert compare who's name i cannot remember said the quality of the car was outstanding. I drove a BYD atto last week a $50k car and it was way better than my mates Lexus RX 450H and it was $90K and 2021 model. BEV coming ICE dead and buried come 2027 onwards.
