It lost billions of dollars in market capitalisation due to price cuts - that affects Teslas margins on how much money they make. If they sell the same amount of cars but make less money on them then of course the share price takes a beating.
Irrespective of how much money they make on each car, each additional car means more Lithium for us.
At least apply some common sense on when you're comparing Apples to Oranges.
