ALB are very much like a few of the American LNG companies. They got into an extremely lucrative industry at the right time, but at the end of the day, they're just not very good at what they do.
Using ALB as the example, you can't say they haven't made a few excellent deals, at precisely the right time, and they were a bit "visionary," giving them the advantage that PLS can hopefully utilize (they have, or at least HAD, cash in a down environment), now, but at the end of the day, when you're talking about Lithium, and not Bromine, ALB have not been very good at the science and engineering, and overall, they're not very good miners.
If I were on the BOD, I would impose a one year moratorium on even looking at acquisitions, and concentrate on their operations. They need to fix several things. Much like IGO, they're VERY lucky they bought into Talison (Greenbushes) when they did.
