Information from my friend who resides in Shanghai. All new EV buyers can get there car registration for free and no waiting time. For those not familiar with the car policies in China. In Shanghai any new ICE cars, registration have an approximately three months waiting time. Cost is around 20k AUD. Please note this is for Shanghai only. Different policies for different provinces.
