You're mixing battery capacity (kWh) and energy output MW.
If the coal plant produces 2922 Megawatts, and you have a bunch of EVs with 70kWh battery packs. The number that is more important is the speed of how fast those batteries can get re-charged.
A typical home on single phase would be able to do 7kWh. So 10 hours on average to fully charge a car from 0-100%.
If all were charging at the same time that single coal power plant with 2922 Megawatts = 2,922,000 Kilowatts
2,922,000 divided by 7 = ~ 417,000 EVs charging at the same time at 7kWh.
Of course there's transmission losses etc.
