Agree with most of it, particularly this...
"PLS is a 40yr mine We have no idea where the Li price will be in 6 months, let alone 6 years."
my valuation is short term. the growth rates is based on what 10 analysts think what is happening 3 years out
eg 14c to 28c over 3 years = 26%
But long term who knows...
on the supply side there are all these massive mines in Africa, Greenbushes etc about to start producing. won't that lead to overproduction of lithium down the track and a decline in the lithium price?
then on the demand side...
the Chinese Communist Party have been subsidising local car makers to get a lead over the rest of the world in the EV market which is leading to overproduction which may ultimately lead to lower demand for lithium batteries...
Extremely hard to work out long term what is going to happen for sure.
But thanks for taking the time to write the post
