the spare tire has nothing to do with it being an EV or not.
manufacturers have been moving away from full size spares, particularly in markets with high urban driving %ages, for about 2-3 decades now. Most japenese cars since the 90s have had 80kmh tyres at best.
hell 98% of my driving is within 100km of my home, ive been pulling my spares out of the boot so I dont have to lug the weight around. Tilt trays dont cost much if I shred a tyre and odds are, ill wear out or develop a slow leak well before then.
just buy a 5th full size if its such a big deal to you.
my bigger concern is only one reverse light on one side of most new cars, with a fake one on the opposite side.
it creates a blindspot when reversing in the dark all tp save a few cents of wiring loom and bulb.
