I just spent the afternoon carting around one of these Redarc go block lithium batteries which I use when camping.
Those things are bloody heavy and mine is just 100amp hours....
Imagine if you had a whole car full of these things ....
something like this...
It must weigh an absolute ton!!!
Plus they require a massive infrastructure.
forget about how many EVs there are and all the infrastructure, wouldn't the sensible thing be to build a lighter vehicle - less wear and tear on tyres, brakes etc and one that doesn't require a massive infrastructure spend?
At least with hydrogen cars, the vehicle doesn't weigh as much and rather than build special infrastructure in car parks, all you'd need to do is repurpose the infrastructure we have already got ie gas stations with hydrogen tanks
