Like most authors of analysis, they write 'pinion pieces' based on incoming information from other analysists 'opinion pieces.' creating a circular effect (be they positive or negative) where opinion is never to be classed as fact. But consider the myriad complexities of the lithium sector - geopolitics, ESG, manipulations by Machiavellian players, EV and storage demand/supply dynamics, growth expectations, financing, mining dynamics, wars, the price of oil, the environmental push, assumptions, presumptions and news from dodgy sources. And the majority of most analysts are not specialists and are often unqualified to interpret the convoluted market of a relatively new commodity making its grand entrance to an audience of 8 Billion humans. All in the spate of circa 7 years.
And then there's a goodly number of HC amateur analysts that have spent up wards of 6/7 years, for 6/7 hours every day pouring over and devouring every research note, financial report and opinion piece ever written on the subjects lithium/batteries, storage, the competition, EV's, connected geopolitics and other related data while cross-referencing in order to calculate the veracity. And whilst they may not be able to predict direction tomorrow or next month, the years ahead are clear to read - notwithstanding a black swan event, like aliens landing; in which case one can only hope that they resemble Amazon chicks with daddy issues and we chaps are forced to surrender ourselves forthwith to a brutal death by dehydration in order to save humanity . Clearly, a purely gallant self-sacrificial response in order to save our own women from the clutches of the alien Amazon like chicks of whom are hell bent on killing off their competition - is what I'll be telling my wife when the time comes .
