yes of course you can keep a foot in both camps as an investor, that is diversification.
Toyota and the car dealers well it's up to them as guess whatever their resources allow.
Volvo is the opposite 100% electric. best at this stage to be a bit 50/50 rather than the all or nothing approach
l wouldn't worry to much about patents l have a relative that took one out. it's a long way from a parent to production.
it's going to take another decade + before we get a really clear idea. best straddle both sides
