So it's a EV charging station in the middle of nowhere that currently does not have solar power.
That looks like a NRMA station those are 50kw chargers, they will charge a car in approx. 30 - 45 minutes.
I love these extreme edge cases like they have no solution.

Also nobody is mandating that you can't buy a petrol or diesel car.

1. The mandates may kick in around 2035, a whole 10 years from now. They assume the batteries and the infra won't get better by then.
2. There's a huge 2nd hand car market.

Nobody is being forced. But yes people are being incentivised to go electric. There's a big difference.
